Stuart Robinson

Stuart is the Managing Director of the Trust. This is a voluntary role. In his day job he is the Head of Business Development and Improvement at Selby District Council. In this role, Stuart leads on ICT, business transformation, HR, organisational development, communications, policy and performance management and sits on the Leadership Team.

Prior to joining the Council, Stuart worked for a number of local authorities – across a number of functions such as housing, benefits and a range of corporate services - as well as the Audit Commission, the Local Government Ombudsman and in a regional local government improvement role for central government.

Stuart joined the Trust because he is committed to supporting the delivery of affordable housing in the Selby District. Living locally, he recognises the importance of volunteers to small charitable bodies such as the Selby and District Housing Trust and enjoys working with the Board to ensure the Housing that the Trust provides is well managed and maintained and tenants are provided with a good quality service.
